North Jefferson Elementary School

Hello NJES families! My name is Mrs. Charley Brock and I am excited and honored
to be serving as your Assistant Principal. My love for this school’s community
began when I had the privilege of being the site supervisor for the Summer
Experience at North Jefferson Elementary in the summer of 2021 and then again in
2022.
This school year marks my 11th year as an educator. I completed my Educational
Leadership certification through Salem University, and I am a 2011 graduate from
West Virginia University, where I earned my master's degree in Elementary
Education. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 6th grade throughout my
career, most of which has been spent here in Jefferson County.
I am the proud mom of a strong-minded, six-year-old girl, Carter, who continually
keeps me on my toes. I love to read and travel!
I plan to work alongside the staff and our principal, Mrs. Johnson, to continue the
excellence established and maintained here at North Jefferson Elementary. I look
forward to continuing to get to know the students and families of NJES and if I can
