Wednesday, April 29th, we are celebrating earning 5 attendance stars by having a school-wide star party! Make sure your students are wearing their brightest colors, or shiniest outfit so we can shine shine shine!

Please join us tonight from 5:30 - 7:00 for our Scholastic Book Fair Family Event in the Media Center. See you then!

The Fair encourages students to read AND raises much-needed funds for our school.
The easiest way for kids to shop the Fair is by creating and funding your child’s eWallet.
No more worrying about cash, and their balances show right on the register. Visit our school homepage to get started: https://scholastic.com/bf/northjeffersonelemschool"

We kindly ask for your cooperation in helping keep our car loop safe and efficient for everyone. If you utilize the car loop during pickup or drop-off, please remember to exercise patience and caution while waiting your turn.
We understand that everyone is on a schedule, but rushing, cutting ahead, or not following the established flow can create unsafe conditions for students, staff, and other families. Taking a few extra moments to move carefully and respectfully through the line makes a big difference in keeping the process smooth and secure.
Thank you for your attention to this and for helping us maintain a safe environment for all of our students.
We truly appreciate your cooperation.

Wear clothes from a different decade, or "reuse" - borrow clothes from siblings, friends or family members! Make sure you check in with Mrs. Layman each day you dress up to be entered into a raffle for a free book from the Book Fair.

As you know the end of the year is coming-and attendance matters now more than ever! With testing coming up, every day counts. Help us help your students by making attendance a priority - every single day! Thank you for your continued support, and as always, if you have any questions or concerns about attendance or barriers in your child's life, please reach out to Addison Tucker at addison.tucker@k12.wv.us.

Please call for an appointment at 304-725-9587.
Please note you must register at your home school.
We can't wait to meet our new stars!

Help us keep our attendance records accurate! If your student has been absent in the last few days without a note, please submit the reason here: Submit An Absence Note. This helps us track local health trends and ensures we're supporting our students the best we can. Thanks for your help!
Just a reminder, the fifth grade panoramic picture is tomorrow, March 26th!
Just a reminder: being "chronically absent" means that your child has missed 10% or more of their school year-regardless of the absences being excused or not. This status tells us that the amount of school your child has missed can put them at risk of falling behind academically and socially.
The good news is, there is still time to turn this around. Sending your child to school as consistently as possible can remove this status and get them back on track!
If you have any questions or need help brainstorming, please reach at to Addison Tucker at: addison.tucker@k12.wv.us or call at (304) 728-5361
