🎄🎅 NJE brings the holiday cheer! This December, the magic of the season came to life at North Jefferson Elementary! It all started when students wrote heartfelt letters to Santa, sharing their holiday wishes. Then, just days before Winter Break, the Big Guy himself made a special visit to bring extra cheer to our students. To top it all off, NJE's newly named Super Star and Stupendous Star mascots immediately set to work spreading even more joy by delivering candy canes to all of our STAR staff members. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season of giving! ✨

📣💃 Calling all JCS K-8th graders: this is your chance to dance with Jefferson High School's Charisma dance team! Charisma is hosting its first-ever Minis Clinic for K-8th graders—no dance experience needed! The clinic will be held on Sunday, January 12 from 2-5 PM at JHS, and all participants will get the chance to perform with Charisma during a girls' varsity basketball halftime show. Dear NJES Families,
Because of the 2-hour delay, the Coast Guard's Angel Tree gift delivery will be rescheduled for Tuesday morning. Again, tomorrow's Angel Tree gift delivery is being delayed until Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Please call the school with any questions. However, the Winter Music Performance will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM as planned, unless school is closed for the day.
JCS will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday, December 16, 2024. JCS staff will continue monitoring the weather and road conditions through the evening and into the morning. Any change will be communicated by 6:30 am.
All staff should report on a 2-hour delay. Essential personnel should report on time.

Hello NJES Families,
We had an exciting week at NJES with the announcement of our STAR students for November. Also, Caylie Simmons, Ms. West Virginia visited our school to talk to students about how she achieved her dream and the importance of oral health! She's a registered oral hygienist. Her father accompanied her and said we were one of the most welcoming schools she had visited so far, Go STARS!
